Taylor
Business Equipment, LLC, a certified Women's Business
Enterprise (WBE), was established in 1972. We maximize
our customers productivity by providing both network
and stand-alone office solutions. This includes sales,
service and support of copiers, facsimile, printers,
shredders and typewriters. We offer compatible laser
toner cartridges which help our customers lower costs while reducing
environmental waste. Our customers range from Fortune 500 companies
to small- and mid-sized businesses.
Taylor
Business Equipment has been a proud member of the Business Technology
Association (BTA, formerly NOMDA) since 1973, helping us stay
up-to-date with the latest office technology trends. Members of our
staff actively participate in BTA and its programs.
Taylor
Business Equipment is an authorized dealer for Xerox, NEC, Samsung,
IBM / Lexmark and Hewlett-Packard. We sell, service
and support Rexel, GBC, Olympia and Niche paper shredders.

Our President,
Nancy Taylor,
co-founded our company in 1972. She has stayed ahead of industry
trends by actively participating in BTA, serving
as an officer at the local, regional and national levels. She proudly
served as the National President of BTA for the
year 1999-2000. She has contributed in many other capacities, including
as Seminar Instructor and as Chairperson of several committees. Nancy
is an active volunteer in many industry and community groups.
Our Vice-President,
Mary O'Connor,
has been with our company since 1987. She manages consultation,
installation and implementation of connected office solutions.
She has been ProTech certified in connectivity by BTA. Mary
manages our office administration and our IT department, as well as
serving as Xerox Phaser Product Manager.
Our Account
Manager, Matt Taylor,
has been with the company since its inception. He started in the office
equipment industry in 1967, advising customers on the proper equipment
to increase their office productivity. He has an excellent
working knowledge of office workflow. He is Pro Sales certified
in connectivity sales by BTA. Matt has also served as an officer for
BTA at both the local and regional levels, and served as Seminar Manager
of BTA's "Value" seminar. He is very active in his community, serving
as President and Chief Financial Officer of a food pantry on the far
South Side of Chicago for the past 20 years.
Our technical
staff has over 30 years combined experience in the
field of office equipment maintenance and repair. We have been trained
by Xerox, NEC, Samsung, Lexmark (IBM), Canon and Hewlett-Packard
to provide excellent service with a minimum of down-time.
Our technical staff helps our customers maximize their office
investment. Taylor Business Equipment also serves as an Authorized
Warranty Depot Service Center for Samsung printers.
